Meet Steph

Stephanie Lavaggi is a New York-based Creative Director, Art Director, Photographer & Designer. She is known for both her big-picture conceptual and detail-oriented executional skills. She has worked with brands like Reformation, CUUP, Free People, Act+Acre, Wildfox, The Mayfair Group, Girlfriend Collective & more. 

Stephanie was a founding member at CUUP and played a key role in launching the brand, defining it's visual language, soul identity & overall storytelling point of view. She was recognized as a Yotpo honoree for "Amazing Women in e-Commerce" and has extensive experience in brand building within the Direct to Consumer, Fashion & Lifestyle spaces. She is currently the Associate Creative Director of Reformation and splits her time between New York City, Upstate and Los Angeles.

Location

Stephanie was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, California where she resided until relocating to Austin, Texas for 2 years until returning to LA to attend FIDM. 

After building her career in LA, she moved to Philadelphia to Art Direct at Free People. Now, she resides in Brooklyn, New York.

School

Stephanie graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Downtown LA.

There, she acquired an Associate of Arts Degree in Merchandise Product Development and graduated Magna Cum Laude with President's Honor Roll. Her grade point average and recognition from faculty landed her in the Premier Group (top 5% of students attending FIDM).

Expertise

Stephanie found her fashion roots assisting Austin-based designer, Linda Asaf, where she designed, patterend, and sewed custom gowns. At Wildfox, she worked her way up from Intern, to Account Executive, to Graphic Designer, to Creative Art Director.

She honed in on her brand storytelling skills at Free People where she assisted with global and digital campaign concepts and shoot execution. She then became a founding member of CUUP, helping launch the brand and scale it to where it is today!
